Two or three lessons where pupils investigate the locus of a snooker ball around a ‘table’.It is primarily about factors (co-prime and highest common factor, HCF) but charting activity extends it making it good for getting pupils to explore mathematics, use reasoning and examine proof. Provides links to ActivStudio, ActivInspire, and Smart Notebook files as well as an Excel spreadsheet I put together to produce answers and charts. Links to original source material as well.
