This is a KS3 SoW, which I have found to be successful in all year groups. It is practically driven, involves group composition, gives context as well as listening and analysing opportunities, and finishes with a practical assessment. This SoW can easily be adapted for whole class teaching, but is currently set up with teacher direction in the first couple of lessons, followed by group-based work.
This SoW includes:
- 5 powerpoints (this project can easily be longer, by giving more time on practising)
- Student booklet to accompany worksheets
- Composition sheet
