This unit is for Ks3, recommended for Year 8 or 9 (it is a good taster for anyone teaching Edexcel GCSE Music as one of the Music for Stage and Screen set works is Rebel Blockade Runner). It is intended to be taught by a music specialist across 6 one hour lessons but can ofcourse be adapted. The composition task could also be done independently on logic or garageband rather than in groups to encourage social distancing.
