This is a very fun, KS3 practical science lesson making paper helicopters and determining how the length of the wings affects the time it takes to fall. The students are then required to write a written conclusion to show their results.

There are 3 learning outcomes that are tiered in accordance with Bloom’s Taxonomies.

All the required resources (including the helicopter templates) for the lesson are within the PowerPoint presentation.

IMPORTANT - For the helicopter templates you need to cut along the solid lines and fold along the dotted lines

The lesson can be easily adjusted for any ability group within KS3
