Lesson Targets
Be able to identify similarities and differences between water, light and sound waves.
Be able to use the word superposition in a sentence which explains how waves move

Starter- Name as many thing that travel in waves, WATER, LIGHT , SOUND ,ANY EM WAVES

Main- Demonstrations, writing task. Pupils must make notes of on the similarities and differences between light and sound waves. Complete the summary task on slide 9. must be done on a separate sheet of paper to take home.
Watch the demonstration on superposition in the ripple tank and video clip of what it looks like in the sea

Plenary- Complete writing task, pupils are to explain what superposition is using a selection of words

Hwk-Take summary task sheets home and revise it for a test next lesson. Slide 9 should have been completed on paper to take home with them.
