This a spreadsheet tool for setting pupil targets, tracking of these over KS4 and analysing the final results. It is for use by school and faculty leadership and management teams to give a way of aspirational target setting for learners and judging the KS4 exam performance of a subject or department. It uses the 2018 KS2-4 transition matrices provided by the DfE to derive what would be the “most probable” expected outcome for a subject based on KS2 prior attainment and gender mix. There is a presentation that outlines how to use the spreadsheet. This is an update of an earlier version of this tracker / analysis tool. The sheets on the spreadsheet are locked and password protected to stop accidental deletion of formulas. The password to unlock the sheets should you need it is 1234. The spreadsheet also uses two small VB macros. This means that you need to enable macros in Excel when asked when opening the spreadsheet.
