Aimed initially at top set Yr10, this lesson allows students to discover circle theorems independently.\nDepending on the length of your lesson you could use a consolidation activity after to allow students to practise finding circle theorems to find angles.\n\nHope this is useful!

#### GCSESimultaneous Equations graphically - worksheet

GCSE Solving simultaneous equations using a graphical method. This worksheet only has straight line graphs. No curves. I haven’t put numbers on the axes (way too fiddly in word when I’m on a time limit) but they are intended to go up in ones. As always, if you use it - please review it. Eek! Q6 has a slight mistake. It should be -x+y

#### Maths Homework booklet Y9 low ability

The second of my HW booklets which include 10 similar hws that can be tracked over time.
These really let you know whether students actually bother to read your comments from the previous week.

#### Maths: Percentages without a calculator worksheets

Need to spice up this rather dry topic.
For this dot to dot have students join question number to answer, e.g. Q1 find 10% of 80 so join 1 to 8. You must say to them to then do Q8 rather than 2 for two reasons:
1. it's quicker as you know where dot 8 is and don&'t need to waste time searching for dot 2.
2. The questions gradually get harder around the shape.

#### Pie charts with circles drawn - worksheet

We all know how long it can take students to draw pie charts. This worksheet at least allows them to save time on drawing a tables and a circle.
The first page have angles that are exact, the second page need angles to be rounded.

#### Formulae Display and Test for New Specification 2015 Mathematics Examination

This highly visible and colour coded display contains all the formulae needed for the new specification GCSE Mathematics. The new specification has a vastly reduced formulae cover sheet, requiring pupils to retain and recall a large amount of new and previously given formulae. This poster aids pupils retention and application of formulae by also providing a document with missing formulae so that the pupils can be periodically tested for their retention.
This display can be printed out up to A0 without distortion, and so can provides a ready-made interactive classroom display that instantly aids children's understanding and application of mathematics.

#### GCSE Maths Mind Maps & Checklists AQA Edexcel Foundation Higher

I’ve created some mind maps to help students revise the 4 main areas in maths: Algebra, Number, Shape & Data. Simple language has been used to make them accessible to all students.
I also included corresponding checklists for students to use to help them with their revision. A smiley face denotes the student has mastered & is confident in the topic, straight- could do with some revision, and unhappy- this topic needs attention. These are in word doc format so feel free to edit/add/subtract to them.
I’ve used this to help plan revision lessons and get an idea of what the group finds difficult and this has worked well.
For a more in depth look at the individual areas please see my other resources:
