The l and r blends activity pack is part of the Magic Boxes explicit, systematic early years spelling program.
Each pack consists of an initial list of words using elkonin boxes to ensure students hear all the sounds in each word. Words marked with an asterisk are 'tricky words' which have a colourfully illustrated mnemonic(available separately in packs of 10) to support their learning.
The list is followed and supported by several activity sheets to consolidate the learning of the phoneme and tricky word.
