You will need a soft toy, or something the children can pass around the room and a way of nominating students (a stopwatch/timer etc)
This activity stimulates prior learning and independent thinking skills.
There are three columns. One column has tener in the present tense, the second column has a number and animal, the third column has an adjective.
When the timer is stopped, the student has to make a sentence using one word from each column, which you then scribble out on the IWB. Then they start passing the 'potato' again.
