This resource includes Ladybirds with spots representing numbers 0-10 and leaves with the corresponding numerals. Each ladybird can be matched with a leaf to support subitising and counting by applying the 1-1 correspondence principle. The resource includes blank ladybirds and leaves. I like to laminate the blank ladybirds and allow the children to draw the spots with whiteboard pens or paint and cotton buds!
