Step by step walkthrough of all the things a student needs to have thought about to analyse the effect of both the content of an extract and its language in order to satisfy exam board criteria for GCSE English Language (tailored to AQA but generally applicable). Talks through the steps of comprehension, inference, and perceived effect for both content (up to L2) and then language (up to L4) as well as a reminder to link conclusions of essay paragraphs together to get higher grades.
