A guide to using 'learning logs' as homework. Used with primary 7 (year 6, age 11) but could easily be adapted to other stages.
Includes letter to parents and PowerPoint to show to the children.
Children then given a4 jotters, access to art materials (if needed) and a 'question of the week' added to the board for them to complete at home, usually reinforeement of something we had done in class.
Children can then peer-assess at the end of the week.
