Use the mark scheme to identify strengths and gaps, allow time for learner self-assessment, and finish by discussing realistic next steps for continued observing or further study. Before the lesson, prepare printed question sheets, answer paper, calculators and the mark scheme; remind learners that responses should use correct scientific vocabulary, show working in calculations and include clear evidence-based explanations.
