I have had some amazing creative writing from students as a result of this lesson. The lesson teaches descriptive writing/ writing a short narrative and is based on an extract from Blake Morrison’s autobiography: ‘And When Did You Last See Your Father?’
The lesson is executed step-by-step through a visually engaging powerpoint (see included) and I have also included the extracts from the autobiography.
After the lesson, the students can then write their own creative pieces.
