Letter reversal b + d multisensory intervention

This pack contains a Science of Reading aligned, fully illustrated book for older children with reading and writing difficulties to learn about the differences between lowercase letters b and d. The book is packed with multisensory approaches for remembering each letter, all wrapped up in a fun story with silly characters. I have used the OpenDyslexic font to support dyslexic readers and increase legibility.

Topics covered include:

• Visual cue for each letter
• Making the shape of a letter with your body
• Saying the sound with the correct mouth shape
• Correct letter formation using formation families
• “bed” mnemonic using thumbs

Also included are two posters, a worksheet, and stick puppets for multisensory role play.
