Lies We Tell Ourselves - context and first lessons

Lessons I created for my high ability Y9 group based on the novel Lies We Tell Ourselves. There isn't a lot around for this novel! The lesson focuses on making some predictions on the novel and covering the idea of segregation. There is also some scope for discussion of segregation and the Jim Crow Laws (so you can roll out some of the context related to Of Mice and Men!). There is also a link to a video focusing on the change in desegregation. There is definitely enough for a couple of lessons!
