Listing Outcomes using lego men

Nice activity where students see how many different Lego Men they can create with heads and bodies given. I usually get students to predict how many they think they can make and then once we’ve found them all discuss why they’re predictions were correct or incorrect.
There are deliberately more spaces than needed so students have to be sure when they have finished - it is always fascinating to see someone who is sure they have all the pairs try to fill in the missing pairs “because there are spaces left”.
