This is 9 days worth of planning based on the children writing a Viking Saga based on a character called Biorn from the short clip from the Literacy Shed website.
It includes reference to the new National Curriculum and has grammar starters, differentiated success criteria and writing opportunities.
It was planned for Year 4 focusing mainly on the Band 4 Learning objectives.
Have also included some of the resources that I have made for these lessons.
Some of the images have been taken from google and links are made to other websites on the plan that we used.

Hi, purchased yesterday looks great. I'm just struggling to understand where you showed the literacy shed clip? As there's no mention on planning. On lesson 2 it says read the first 5 sentence? Where from if this makes sense. Please could you help! Thankyou x

Hi, it does mention it in the second Tuesday and Wednesday lessons the children would watch the literacy shed clip - however it is only a sugestion. I know to start off with we just used the still images to generate ideas before I showed then the video. The first 5 sentences you mentioned in lesson 2 is the word document called "story opening" that is included in the download. Hope that helps! Any other questions just ask! :) Mrs W x

Hi, I have uploaded everything that I could - the things I made. Some of the PowerPoints were off twinkl or other people of TES so I'm not allowed to uploaded them on here without copyright infringement! Sorry!
