Students, as trainee agents, investigate the rules of simple and compound sentences, correcting errors and writing their own examples of the rules in action. An enjoyable way to look at grammar, with opportunity for some teacher in role (as the lead agent!). Great for encouraging boys to engage with aspects of language. Part of a series of literacy lessons - look out for more on commas, apostrophes, capitals etc! Suitable for year 7 or low ability year 8.
