Look Up English Writing Unit

This collection of writing lessons spans an entire term and is based on the story Look Up. It focuses on the Year 2 National curriculum but can easily be adapted. The planning offers a thorough analysis of the text, alongside numerous creative writing opportunities inspired by the story. It includes tasks for creating a fact file, writing a persuasive letter, and crafting character descriptions. The activities have been adapted to suit various learning needs, and the accompanying PowerPoint presentations feature visual aids to support all students’ learning.
