Loss of global cultures

This is a powerpoint which includes a variety of tasks, including starter, discussion, note taking, videos (links embedded), research and a plenary. It covers the topics of why global culures are lost, why kanguages are important and the impacts this cultural erosion has on communities such as the aboriginal people of Australia and New Zealand. It can be used in class or for home /online learning.

This powerpoint was written as lesson 2 of the third topic of Culture, as part of the IGCSE Global Citizenship course but can be used for any course requiring students to analyse the role and loss of culture.
