Boost Your Grade: Clear Understanding of Macbeth is a focused six-week intervention designed to help students turn secure knowledge into clearer, more successful exam responses. Each week guides students through a key character or theme, carefully selected core quotations, relevant context and an exam-style extract before modelling what an achievable Band 4 response looks like. Students repeatedly practise the same approach to select evidence, explain ideas using ‘because’, connect the extract to the wider play, plan and write, building confidence and independence week by week.
