A simple double sided A4 word document which allows a normal Classroom teacher to Introduce the Plot, Key themes and Characters of Shakespeare’s Macbeth in an exciting and interactive manner. Drama for the English Classroom.

Involves Active participation but without the need to move around. The accompanying extensive instructions explain how best to set up and run the activity.

Allow your GCSE class Year 10, 11 or possibly even Year 9 to gain a fun and exciting introduction to Macbeth, the Scottish play. Take them on an interactive journey where their imagination will help them visualise, WItches, Battles, Kings, Crowns, Ghosts, Daggers and Murder most foul.

By the end of the task classes should have a basic grounding in the events of the play and have participated in a dramatic re-enactment. No other resources or props required.

Most classroom teachers will be able to run this lesson with no need for Drama experience. In the COVID classroom it’s important to maintain chances for interactive activities. WIth a little care this fun task can be done with pupils seated and facing forwards.
