MASTERING CONNECTIVES - Getting Your Point Across with Fluency

This is to give your middle and senior school students explicit practice in writing with clarity and fluency through the use of connectives. It is a practical, PPT based program of two or three lessons, with class activities at each step of the explanations, giving detailed instruction followed immediately by application and practice in usage on the following topics

The numbered slides make this practical as a teacher directed, whole class mini-unit of vocabulary and grammar teaching.

It is modular, each section making up the 27 slides self contained and therefore able to be used separately, depending on your class requirements.

Visual design of the unit is intended to be student - friendly, self-explanatory and cumulative in the sophistication of the subject matter, making it practical for use as a work alone unit in which students are self-guided and work through the material themselves at their individual pace.
