Data handling – block graphs & pictograms (two days).
Children use data from Teaching Sequence M3 (weight) and represent it in a block graph. They discuss what they can tell from the block graph. Data about school dinner choices is used to form pictograms and again Children discuss and write about what they can tell from the pictogram. Children answer question such as ‘how many more Children chose pasta than jacket potatoes?’
