This ready-to-print resource allows pupils to play a familiar game of snap while learning how the Maya represented numbers. By matching Maya numerals with the corresponding numbers, children develop confidence in recognising patterns in the Maya base-20 number system.

The pack includes a set of Maya numeral cards from 0–19. A second set of cards is also included, showing the modern numbers (0–19) alongside the Maya numerals, helping pupils understand how the number system works. These cards can be used to support the game, explain the Maya number system, or as part of a classroom display.

Simply download, print and cut out the cards to create an engaging activity that helps pupils explore the fascinating Maya number system.

To print a PDF on both sides (duplex) so the content on both sides is oriented in the same direction (i.e., not upside down on the back), you need to select the correct binding option in your printer settings—usually “Flip on Long Edge” for portrait documents and Select Flip on Short Edge for Landscape.
