Meaningful Art Homeworks – Free Sample

Two complete art homework worksheet-and-teacher-note pairs in this free 10-page sample from Meaningful Art Homeworks, for KS3 students of middle to high ability.

Wordplay turns familiar words into imaginative nonsense illustrations. Surreal! asks students to create a drawing with an unreal aspect, introducing ideas from surrealism. Both activities include teachers’ notes on introducing the homework and extending the work.

The sample also contains teachers’ notes for Cultural Tattoo, but its student worksheet is not included. The title, introduction, contents and general guidance are included.

The full 61-page pack contains 28 one-session homework activities with teachers’ notes, covering drawing, collage, graphics, pattern, mark-making, colour, perspective and shading. Tasks assume access to simple materials such as sketchbooks, pencils and colouring pencils.

The preview images illustrate the full pack and include pages beyond the sample. The original publication is supplied without a claim of current curriculum alignment.
