In this lesson, some pupils will undertake one activity and others a second activity, with a chance to compare findings together at the end. You may wish to adapt the plan so that all pupils take part in both activities, or all pupils cover one activity and discuss the concepts of the other. You should adapt/differentiate the information and tasks to meet the needs of your pupils. IP 'Measuring energy&' could be used as it stands for the eldest and/or most able pupils, otherwise you should use them selectively, presenting information in a way which is appropriate for your class.
