A detailed medium term plan teaching sequence that was written for KS1 to be used to write a non-chronological report. Units were written to be used within a school that uses their own version of a talk for writing sequence for planning.
The unit details steps to be taken to build up to writing a final piece of work. Although it was written for KS1, it is equally applicable for lower KS2.
There are 6 steps per unit and example sentences are given for assessment standards from WT Yr 1 to GDS Yr 2.
