I found a few typos in the ppt and also am not sure about the sentence used in both files 'There are over a hundred different types of atom, called elements.........' Is this now the way that elements are defined in GCSE or other syllabi in England and Wales? I have also been describing the number of elements as 'almost 120' and still use a definition based on a substance in which 'all the atoms are the same' before we reach discussion of isotopes and contradict this!!
