Over half of our living world consists of organisms too small to see with the naked eye. This lesson introduces the idea of microbes and just what that world is like with easy-to-grasp concepts, high-quality images, and interactive laboratory practicals. Virtual learning format ready!

Created with the Cambridge Checkpoint Science for Lower Secondary in mind, but can be used for any middle school curriculum. Contents include presentation slides (Google Slides, Powerpoint, PDF), hyperdoc (Google Docs, Word) and an exit ticket quiz (Google Forms).

The presentation includes pertinent concepts, key questions (learning objectives), and a lab observation. The hyperdoc encourages students to explore the topic further with links to interesting videos, questions to help them check their understanding, and activities to further apply their learning.
