Have your students face the real life prospect of having to flee their country, family and jobs through an interactive 4+ lesson project teaching students about jobs, tax, the economy migration, war and much more.

A complete full four lesson series of work including resources where students must work together in groups to play the part of a migrating family, ideal for KS3/4 Citizenship/PSHE and Humanities.

Students begin as family units and must work out how much income and tax they pay.
Students are then forced to flee their homes due to local conflict, making choices as the lessons progress.
Finally students will find out what happened to their family based on the choices they made in lessons, as well as finding out how the real families did that the game is based on.

Handouts are also included in the PowerPoint to save on printing

Excellent series of lessons for KS3 or 4.

Includes a beginning lesson on Exploitation and Human Rights, focusing on CSE which includes a quiz.

Any money earned from resources goes into printing educational and SEN materials and games for local schools. If you need any information or spot any errors please do not hesitate to email me directly Amewingcat@gmail.com.
