Some questions I wrote around the use of a fraction of a fraction. Tried to mix it up to include percentages, decimals and ratios.
When I taught this to a Y11 foundation group, I taught it as two seperate lessons. The first lesson focused on just the fraction of a fraction part, then included ratios in the second lesson. I didn’t want to overbear the students.
Ended up using frequency trees to model the problems. Really enjoyed these lessons and questions.
