Three lessons based upon the Ancient Greece topic.
The first lesson is a ppt presentation which uses true/false format questions to engage the children in learning about Modern Greece. The children will then produce a leaflet about Modern Greece.
The second lesson is about daily life in Ancient Greece. Again there's a ppt presentation as well as cards to cut out and order for a hands-on activity. The children will then sketch an aspect of life in Ancient Greece to create a classroom display.
The third lesson is about gods and goddesses in Ancient Greece with various discussion opportunities and mini activities. The children will then sketch and write about different Greek gods.
I originally produced these resources for use in a high-achieving Year 4 class but they can very easily be adapted for different ages and abilities.
