For those hell bent on moving the numbers as opposed to the decimal point I put together this powerpoint which illustrates how to do this using acetate over a place value grid... Quite neat, but not sure how it compares to moving the decimal point. It's kinaesthetic in the least. Would love some brownie points in return =) Thank you...
