Museum Maker: Daily Life (Lesson Plan)

The region of Ancient Corinth features a long history of occupation with over 8,000 years of local
habitation. Resulting from the city’s extensive history, a wide variety of material remains have been
recovered over a century of archaeological excavations in the area. By studying these excavated remains,
archaeologists, scholars, and students alike can develop a fuller understanding of what life was like in the
ancient world. This lesson builds upon previous knowledge of Ancient Greek culture and society and
introduces students to the process of researching primary source materials, organizing them into a
thematic display, and presenting them through a public-facing digital exhibit.
