National Reading Test (Wales) Classroom Practice

This pack contains four different task sheets, each of which is based on a different literary classic:

• The Wizard of Oz
• Th Jungle Book
• The Secret Garden
• War of the Worlds

The questions can be used with any KS3 class to practise general reading comprehension, but all questions are in a similar style to those in the national tests (Wales).

They have been designed to help students practise relevant skills, whilst also avoiding some common pitfalls relating to the wording of the questions.
