This whole lesson looks at the nature and impact of Ketts and Western Rebellions in 1549 under Edward VI. Information sheets provided! The lesson also looks at the role of the Duke of Somerset and to what extent he was to blame for the failure in the handling of the rebellions.

Also includes the exam question: ‘The most important impact of rebellions on Tudor governments 1485-1553 was the overthrow of crown servants. How far do you agree?’ Includes planning guidance.
