NGO, Charities, Third/Voluntary Sector: this lesson uses well known organisations such as Snapchat, Oxfam and the NHS to teach the difference between public, private and charity sector organisations so that students understand what a non-governmental organisation actually is, how it gets its funding and what kind of social good it might aim to achieve. Lots of sorting and defining activities to build their understanding. Also comes with an online knowledge test.
