2 hours of lesson.

Created for the AQA GCSE History 9-1 course. This lesson introduces students to what life was like in Norman villages through a picture inference activity. Students then analyse a Medieval farming year (worksheet included), and draw out the differences between the lives of the poor and the lives of the rich. A 'spot the feature' activity is includes, as is a role play wherein students stand in a line as a class to decide whose character had the easiest or hardest life.
