A powerpoint introduction to an activity lesson for students. The powerpoint introduces data on Strictly Come Dancing, MacDonalds food and TV programs. The students then use spreadsheets to analyse the data and produce graphs which they then present as a news story. The data may need refreshing depending on which Strictly series is on air, and the TV ratings may also need updating for your lesson. It is a 2 lesson task, one lesson in an ICT suite.

This is a good cross curricular lesson, using persuasive writing, speaking and listening. Spice it up with some blazers and video the pupils presentations and it has the potential to be a great lesson which pupils won't forget quickly. Thank you for sharing.
