I love making maths more fun - I used this with my year 1 class while looking at number patterns, which they really enjoyed. They could select a resource to support them if they wished, such as numberlines or hundred squares with whiteboard pens.
The more able children loved making their own number patterns and challenging others at their table to guess the next number and carry it on.
