This activity uses fast food items to develop counting skills. It is aim at older students with special needs, who require age-appropriate materials. It is very popular as many children love fast food.
This is an interactive notebook to develop students understanding of numbers 0 - 10. It starts with 1 - 5, the 6 - 10. It is full of activities to match, find and count numbers, in a fun and dynamic manner. It uses fast food items to encourage the counting process. It was created for students with special needs (SEN) but can be used as a valuable resource for early years mathematics.
It has worksheets for matching and counting to develop an understanding of numbers 0 - 10. It has flashcards of the fast food - hot chips, donuts, ice-cream and drink. There are boards which can be printed and laminated and then the fast food can be matched when they are attached to pegs used to hang out clothes to dry.
