Players are using:
-
Maths Skills = Place Value, Comparing Numbers, Ordering digits and Number Sense.
-
Reasoning Skills = Logical Thinking, Reasoning, Strategic Thinking and Decision Making.
Learning Objective: I can use my understanding of place value to arrange digits in order to make a high and low number
To make the game more challenging, players can be dealt 3 or 4 cards for each round.
Instructions for game board setup and game rules are provided.
Life & Lucky Dip cards are provided
Single digit game cards 1-9 are provided
I suggest your print multiple copies of all the number files and yes, there is quite a deal of preparation with printing, cutting out and sticking on card. It will, however be worth the effort.
Your pupils can certainly help with the cutting out.
This is an extremely user friendly game that allows you to adapt your own rules.
