This outstanding, creative scheme of work covers the full iterative design process where students designs a piece of contemporary lighting for Ikea, using recycled ocean plastics.

This scheme offers an excellent introduction into the design process, the value of design and designing for sustainability through project based learning. The project covers the entire iterative (non-linear) design process as well as relatable theory to offer a unique learning opportunity that applies to real-life situations.

This also includes differentiated activities, problem solving and extension activities.
