A 5-page formulae sheet/worksheet with answers for calculating the SA:V of rectangular prisms, cylinders and spheres, with some contextual questions as well.
Note - contextual question 2 requires students to treat the bacteria as 2 hemispheres and a cylinder. Contextual question 3 requires students to convert their measurement of the cell diameter into µm. Should be printed on A4 otherwise it will be quite hard.
Most calculations were carried out using 6SF, so if students use more figures their answers will vary a little from those I have calculated.
