This is an interactive powerpoint that I used in a lesson that involved multiplying multiples of 10 - taken from B3 of the Numeracy Strategy. The children were told that the Olympic Committee were building a number of torch stands around the country. Each city has made a request for how many brick they want in their stand (notably, all pretty small) and the children must work out how high the stand will be. The powerpoint is full of hyperlinks so that you can easily navigate from the map of the uk to the city council pages.
