Othello Character Language Analysis Worksheet

This resource collates key quotations said by Othello in the play, in order from Act 1, to Act 5. It also provides questions for students to analyse Othello’s changing language over the course of the play.

This is a great revision resource for students to explore Othello’s use of language and consider structural changes to his character over the course of the play.

I have used this with Year 13 students to support their revision of Othello’s character arc. It supports them to link quotations together from different parts of the play, thereby allowing them to make insightful structural comments.
