There are 15 individual quizzes on each poem in the AQA Power and Conflict Anthology for GCSE syllabus. Each quiz has a minimum of 15 slides of multiple-choice questions with embedded quotations:. Most poems follow the following format: 3 x questions on context / authorial intentions 3 x form 3 x structure 3 x language and imagery 3 x attitude and feelings Play the PP as F5 or slideshow. Click on the corresponding image to the correct answer. If correct, it will automatically take you to the next slide, if incorrect, it will divert you to a 'wrong answer slide'. Simply click on the blue icon and it will take you back to the question to have another go. I have used them as starter tasks for information retrieval, as a fun revision tool for independent learning and also as a plenary to check student understanding.
