This lesson focuses on electrical resistance. Students first cover what we mean by resistance and why it happens. Then we introduce the equation voltage = Current x Time (V = IR). Students are shown examples of how to use the equation and are asked to complete practice questions.
The final part of the lesson explores how combinations of resistors in series and parallel can be used to increase or decrease the total resistance.
